It's been feeling like Spring here in Goshen, which is very nice.  I think that this winter wasn't as harsh as last winter, so it was hard to complain too much, but I'm glad that it's over anyway.
Last fall we transplanted a Japanese maple tree to the little "garden" triangle in front of our breezeway.  It seemed to do well, but since it was fall and the leaves soon shriveled and died, it was hard to know for sure.  On Sunday morning we saw buds on the ends of branches when we left for church.  Yesterday the buds were much larger.  This morning, this is what we saw when we left for work: 

I know it happens every year, but Spring is continually amazing.
